Highly recommend this product. Snaps on in a jiffy, cool see-through effect that illuminates the apple when it's open. Provides peace of mind against scratches and it looks great :-) Absolutely worthwhile purchase.

The item came as ordered. I accidentally ordered the wrong one and tried to return it. I emailed the company to try to confirm where to return it to and some specifics, and it took three days for them to get back to me, and the email only stated "we received your email and will contact you as soon as possible. I never heard from them again. I emailed them once more and heard nothing. I ended up putting the item up for sale on another site and it sold and I ordered the correct cover somewhere else. Again, the product was the one advertised, and I ordered the wrong one, but the return service and contact with the company was very poor.

Have this case for about 2 years now and it has prevented my mac from getting scratches and dents! I travel alot and this case is awesome. Can be little heavy but it is made for protection. I would def recommend.

This fits perfectly but please take it off ever so often a clean your device. A little bit of dust and stuff can still get in. I am very paranoid with my MacBook Pro so I have never banged it and it never fell so I can't comment on the that aspect. You can see the scratches on the case, but that is no big deal for me I can just buy another colour if I want to. Better the case get the scratch that my laptop. I have no problems with opening or closing the screen

if you are looking for the older version (i.e. the one in this listing), know that the seller does not seem to have it and will most likely send you the later version (slightly different build, no raised corners on the top portion) with no explanation. hardly a big deal but i went out of my way to find the older version of the case and was disappointed when I received the V2 model. my email back and forth with the seller verged on the absurd. they refused to acknowledge the mistake and just sent me cut-and-paste responses re their return policy.
